Spring Forward with Lit Crawl… in Brooklyn!

Lit Crawl Tackles BK! Mark your calendars, lit lovers! On May 19th, 2012 Lit Crawl NYC heads east to Brooklyn, the literary epicenter du jour. For years, writers and bookish types alike have flocked to the borough’s tree-lined streets for inspiration and collaboration. This spring, Lit Crawl NYC celebrates them all with an evening of literary delights, Brooklyn style!

Did You Read That? Crawlers, meet the latest edition of Magnitude, Litquake’s quarterly online literary, featuring contributions from the Litquake and Lit Crawl community. Check out the new issue, learn more about the mag, and consider contributing to the next issue (stay tuned for details).

Up Next. We’ll soon be rolling out profiles of our favorite local bookshops, writers, and literary watering holes, so keep up to date by liking us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, or signing up for our newsletter.  And check out some photos from last September’s NYC Crawl.

The Lit Crawl is a madcap concept created by San Francisco’s literary festival, Litquake,  back in 2006.  It’s a bar crawl, with literature!  The inaugural Lit  Crawl NYC took place in September 2008 and was wildly popular, spurring  its lit-loving, NY-loving crawlers to make it an annual event, growing,  in true Lit Crawl tradition, with every year.
