About this blog and I

This blog covers some of the things I think about as fundraising web producer at the truly awesome WWF-UK, and also as co-founder of the short story writing community, Bibliofaction. But mostly it’s nonsense. Think of it as a place where I practice touch-typing (while tactile keyboards still exist) and then sometimes press ‘publish’ for you to see.

For their benefit rather than mine, I should state that the things I write are my own views and I am in no way qualified whatsoever to represent the views of WWF. Luckily for me, WWF are great, so I wouldn’t have much to disagree about anyway. But officially and whatnot, don’t blame them for the things I say.

As Bibliofaction is just me and my mate Andy, I’m not sure I need a caveat on official views, but how about… anything I say regarding Bibliofaction can be taken to represent up to – but probably not as much as – 50% of the official view of Bibliofaction, and is therefore meaningless.

This is not really a blog about keeping chickens, growing vegetables, carving spoons and walking sticks, learning to ride a bike, baking bread, eco-living, learning French, playing bass guitar, reading books and many other things I happen to like.

So, whilst sometimes I might not be able to stop myself posting photos of onions, on the whole this blog is about online things. Fundraising, optimizing, testing, thinking, campaigning, learning, sharing, improving and so on. But you can probably work out that out from the things I post anyway. If the things I post look like my blog is about something else, that’s probably what my blog is actually about.
