top prepaid credit cards

I have long been a believer that the whole financial situation is founded on bad morals and it takes advantage of the consumer society that makes everybody want for things that they cannot afford. Until the financial collapse, it was very easy for someone with a low paid job to go out and get hold of a credit card with a credit limit around 3 or 4 times their monthly wage. I am no financial expert, but even I can see that this is wreckless. Companies were lending out huge amounts of money to people that obviously could not pay it off. I was not one of these people, but my girlfriend, who is now my wife, was.

You cannot take the ultimate responsibility for personal finance management away from the person involved, but surely there is something wrong when a company is offering to lend someone an amount of money that they know cannot realistically be paid of properly on the income they are receiving. This is why I was extremely happy when I heard about Mastercard best prepaid credit cards. Surely this is the way things should be done? You put the money onto the card, and then spend it. Not spend the money on a card and then try and work out how to pay it back! There seems to be a big increase in the amount of people offering the Mastercard prepaid cards, me and my wife have been looking into them, and there are some major companies like Account Now, Netspend, Green Dot, and RushCard who all offer the service. There are a whole host more such as ReadyDebit, and Orchard who also offer them.

The great thing about them is that it prevents people from spending money that they do not have, which has been one of the biggest problems of the last 15 years. It is also available for people with a bad credit rating, as obviously there is not credit involved. If you ask me, Mastercard prepaid cards are the way forward a they offer all of the spending power of a credit card, without the need to borrow the credit. Obviously this is difficult for people who are barely earning enough to put money onto the card, but it is about time that people started to realize that we all need to start living within our means as it is the only sustainable way to keep us all going. I will only be using Mastercard prepaid cards from now on, and if I cannot afford something I want, I will have to wait until I can!
