Ambassadors

2011-2012 University of Arkansas Student Ambassadors 

University Student Ambassadors are undergraduate student leaders who volunteer to meet and greet prospective students, provide campus tours, help at recruitment events, and assist in the Office of Admissions. The goal of the Ambassadors is to provide prospective students first-hand information about the University of Arkansas. In sharing experiences, ambassadors hope to ease the transition of new students into life at the University of Arkansas and share with them the many wonderful opportunities that await them.

Kristen Parnell

Tour Coordinator

Kristen Parnell is the Tour Coordinator and the advisor for the Student Ambassador program. She is from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and she is currently working on her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas.

Arthur Leal

Graduate Assistant

Arthur Leal is the Graduate Assistant for the Student Ambassador Program. He served as an ambassador for three years prior to becoming the graduate assistant for the program. Arthur is from Houston, TX, and has a BS in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas. He is currently working on his Master of Science in Agricultural & Extension Education with a concentration in Agricultural Communications.
