Tour of Long Beach 2012

You’re invited to one of the premiere bicycle fundraising events on the west coast as the BikeFest Tour of Long Beach returns on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Bring the entire family for a day of fun and see for yourself how Long Beach is striving to be ‘the most bicycle friendly city in the U.S.’

Join in the fun by participating in the Tour of Long Beach’s Family Fun Ride, a picturesque 31 or 62-mile course on the streets of Long Beach or Cruz Gran Fondo which kicks off near the Queen Mary and loops twice through Long Beach, Cypress, Seal Beach and Signal Hill.   All paths lead to a full-day festival with live entertainment, a vendor fair and much more cycling-focused fun.  Proceeds will support pediatric cancer research at Miller Children’s Hospital of Long Beach.

• 7:30am Tour packet pick-up closes
• 7:30am Metric Century riders start
• 8:00am First wave of Tour riders start
• 8:05am Second wave of Tour riders start
• 8:10am Third wave of Tour riders start
• 8:30am Family Fun riders start
• 9:30am-4:30pm - Bike Festival
