Rhubarb Valley
Here in the Pacific Northwest there is occasion to lift the fog more than just a few mornings out of the year. With Rhubarb Valley the roaster plays a nice trick using various Central American coffees. Divergent roasting styles for each coffee provide this blend with a comfortable familiarity that gently wakens the soul and gladdens the heart with its focus on crisp, sparkly characteristics. The best coffees of the region are known for clear, bright acidic qualities that provide a light body and a lively medley of drop dead refinement and depth.

Daffodil Valley
Perfectly clean, resoundingly vibrant and delicious express what coffee drinkers think about Daffodil Valley. The nose is seduced by a promising fragrance of sweet cherry and citrus and the tongue is romanced by ripe plum, sweet chocolate and slightly untamed spicy undertones of jalapeño and curry. Call it a comfortable country home with a small well-behaved dragon living in the back yard. Precious coffees from absolutely different Central and South American growing regions are roasted and combined to produce a surprisingly supple mouth feel and gentle drinkability. This blend is remarkable as the separate coffees alone possess so much overt flavor as to be considered overpowering by many.

Silver Falls
With our French Roast decaf you no longer have to forfeit flavor for a good decaf. We use only the highest quality high-grown coffees from Central America and Indonesia for Silver Falls. The length and heat demanded for this type of roast present a challenge to the roaster; the quality of the bean and the roaster’s skill stand up to such a challenge. Silver Falls is surprisingly satisfying with its smooth and warm nut and chocolate overtones, a bit of smoke, and slight sweet tobacco undertones. A medium-full body gives the cup a comforting heft, satisfying the tongue and leaving nothing for want.

Longmire
Longmire is a purists Sumatra, consistent cup to cup, with just enough of that funky something that made Sumatra famous. Surprising high-notes coupled with heavy-note complexity make this a real crowd-pleaser as a stand-alone drip coffee which is why we like to refer to it as our Rejuvenating mo-JOE.

Paradise
Paradise delivers intensity and boldness without becoming harsh or unpalatable. The best coffees from Central America are combined with Indonesian coffee in a highly controlled roast environment to produce a potent brew that is both rich and weighty, but never burned, and provides just a spark of clear acidity. For the most full-bodied presentation, coarsely grind a fresh batch and promptly French press this coffee. Be prepared for an instant injection of fortitude and gusto, and just the slightest whiff of mischief.
