CLASSES AT THE LIBRARY

Knitting -- Mondays at 10 a.m. with Joyce Howell

Crochet -- Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with Bell Tidwell

Quilting -- Thursdays at 10 a.m. with Bobbie Payne

Counted Cross Stitch -- Fridays at 10 a.m. with Sherry Robertson.

Basic and Advanced Computer classes are taught at the Library on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Come by the Library to sign up.

HOMEWORK ALABAMA

Storytelling Traditions for Preschool Children which is funded by a grant from the Jefferson County Commission meets the second and fourth Tuesdays at 11:30. Miss Lisa will be here each month to present stories, songs, and activities for children who are 2-5 years of age.  Each 30 minute program encourages active participation of the children. Parents, children, daycares, and preschool classes are welcome.

the READER a publication of the Public Libraries of Birmingham/Jefferson County, Alabama Your $10 donation will buy a hardback childrens book. We will gladly place a gift plate in the new book acknowledging your generosity.
To obtain a library card (which can be used at any library in Jefferson County) you would need to bring a current Alabama drivers license with your correct address on it or if you have recently moved into the area, you can bring a utility bill with your current address.
