Sandeep trusts nature, once removed, to quell her own nature, behind a character who represents the historical female, taking steps through labor and production to assert her gender autonomy. • RELATIONSHIPS AND VARIATIONS May 23, 2009

Almost a whole decade in the artistic opus of Nevzat Bejtuli Kica is dominated by the theme Man and horse or Man and his horse. These two figures in the works of Bejtuli are constantly in certain juxtaposition. The clarification of the theme (The man and his horse) is only intended to make a more comprehensible distinction in the man-horse relationship. Not only does this relationship inflict the general division between man and nature, but in the case of this great series of works by Bejtuli the two symbols are intertwined and presented in a variable relation. The man is almost at all times represented as a dervish and the figure of the horse is always “his” horse. This note about the relationship of the two is mainly aimed at accentuating the further differences and tensions between them or the opposit them being synchronized in the world of endless variations already named Man and horse.

  • Works by Behar Ferati May 23, 2009

Images of fruits hanging in unreal spaces, abstract, detached from nature and life. This is a carrying image that appears and reappears in different variations in the graphics of Behar Ferati. These are associative compositions with the elements that refer to certain reality, very close to the author and that in the appearance they carry undefined messages. But in fact, his graphics are meditations that carry you near the nature and that transmit to the audience the timbre of the silent drama that talks through form, colour, line and texture.

  • A SEARCH IN SPACE April 24, 2009

From one piece of art to another, the artist imposes a rhythm which he acquires himself, following it and accepting it as a rhythm of life. The artist is totally aware of the things he wants to say in each sketch and he does so, in a very precise and simple way, so that he could easily be comprehended by everybody. He is constantly in touch with the purity of his personality, which itself is a subject of cleansing and at the same time he cleans and clears the sound, accomplishing communication with the viewer through the sketch itself. It is in this way that the communication spreads around. The viewer is initiated into a discussion about the pieces at art, he listens to the oscillations of the colors, painted in the sketch, that do not allow for the communication to be interrupted in the relation artist – music – color...

  • COLORS AND SAND April 22, 2009

With her choice, Iva combines rural portraits with calm, deep, gray-blue ocean seashores. The eye of the camera leads us into a relaxed promenade through the Kenyan village, alley after alley, hut after hut, so our gaze would finally settle over the infinite coastline. Her portraits illustrate rural everyday life, while some of them are a “blow up” of intimacy and reflection of the individual’s joy of life. The photographer meets eyes that engage us into a “long” stare and extensive attention.

  • Four windows of the experience of essence April 20, 2009

Calistic synthesis of the four artists-Reshat Ameti,Safet Spahiu, Bashkim Mexhiti and Ilirjan Beqiri represents four opened windows of the finite, the temporal, the limited toward wide horizons of the physical and metaphysical reality of the existence. Poly-dimensionality of their paintings represents harmony of the spirit phases as in the abstract phenomenon and in the concrete spirit as well. The idea is infinite, bursts and outflows from the artistic work frames, while the form represents the form of the limited human’s creation but including the various time periods with harmonic proportion of the local, traditional and global, avant-garde.
