The Easter Bunny will return to Rittenhouse Circle in the Village 2 complex in New Hope on Saturday, April 7.  The New Hope Borough Park and Recreation Board will sponsor the second annual Easter Egg Hunt from 11:00 a.m.to noon.

 Beth Hasher, chair of the Park and Recreation Board announced that approximately one thousand colorful Easter eggs containing a variety of candy and surprises will be scattered around the circle for children ten years of age or younger to hunt.  “We had a wonderful turnout last year for our first egg hunt, and we look forward to a fun time again this year,” said Ms. Hasher.  Prizes will be awarded, including gift certificates from local businesses.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

A special appearance by the most famous cotton tail of all is certain to please the children as they hunt for their holiday goodies.

The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce will hold its quarterly Business Card Exchange on Tuesday, April 11, 2012 from 6pm – 8 pm.  Carl Glassman of the Wedgewood Inn, 111 W. Bridge St.,  has graciously agreed to host the event.  Speakers for the evening are Lawrence Both of the New Hope-Solebury Library and a respresentative of the Bucks County Playhouse.  We hope you will join us.  Contact the Chamber office at 215-862-9990 for further information.

The New Hope Art League presents “Images of New Hope” a juried art show of the New Hope-Solebury area, at the New Hope Winery.  Entries are due April 15, 2012, exhibition opens May 17-June 3, 11am – 5pm daily, except Wednesdays. New Hope, PA – New Hope Film Festival is proud to present Earthwork by filmmaker Chris Ordal at the County Theater in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 7:30 PM.

Earthwork received rave reviews from the audience during the 2010 New Hope Film Festival, where Ordal walked away with a nomination for Best Picture. Earthwork went on to land a deal with Shadow Distribution.
