Moving with a Partner
Time: Thursdays 7:30 - 8:45 (50-min class plus 25 minutes practice)

Cost: $10/class. Call to preregister for one or more classes. No dance experience needed.
In this interactive class Max will guide you in movement games that will help you to develop your kinesthetic and proprioceptive awareness, and improve your ability to connect with a partner, both on and off of the dance floor. We will learn a lot and have fun at the same time!
Max is an instructor who specializes in improvisational partner dances such as lindy hop, Argentine tango and blues. Her prior training in cognitive neuroscience and rehabilitative fitness informs her approach to teaching creative movement and partner dance. She enjoys working with students of all ages and all experience levels, especially absolute beginners and people who once believed that they could never learn to dance. |
