Tour De Farms Visits
Sunnyside
The Fifth annual Tour de farms paid a
visit to Sunnyside Meats with about 40 riders making the 10+ mile
ride out to tour the plant, talk conservation and have some snacks
on the back lawn.

Recently, Animal Welfare
Approved, an arm of the Animal Welfare Institute, visited Sunnyside
Meats to assess our harvest program. AWA is a nonprofit, third
party certifier of farms and slaughterhouses. AWA will certify
a farm and their slaughterhouse in order to assure the consumer that
meat bearing AWA's logo has been raised and harvested by the
strictest animal welfare standards.
