Ambrosia Late September apples, large and conical in shape,  
  cream background with a red overtone. A very sweet,
  great snacking apple.      
             
Arkansas Black This apple, originatingout of Benton County Arkansas
  dates back to the late 1800's.When allowed to ripen fully 
  in storagethe red color becomes so dark that it almost
  turns black. A mid October apple that's "hard enough 
  to knock a dog down" when picked but softens in storage
  has a distinct flavor all it's own.    
             
Baldwin An antique variety coming in about mid October.   
  The fruit is very large with a color similar to Red Del.This
  apple adds good full flavor to ciders and pies.  
             
Beni Shogun Another earlier ripening version of the Fuji. Beni Shogun
  comes in mid September and offers a very sweet, lightly 
  crisp yellow flesh.        
             
Brown Snout This 19th century cider apple has high tannins but low
  acid, and gives a little kick to your ciders.    
             
Cameo A chance seeding from the west that comes in late   
  September. The Cameo is the new and improved  
  Red Del. This apple has a great sweet, spicy flavor  
  and is very firm.        
             
Candy Crisp The Candy Crisp comes in early to mid October and   
  offers a Golden like flavor. The apple is large and yellow
  with firm, juicy flesh.      
             
Corail Also known as Pinata, this late September early October
  apple offers a slightly, sweet crisp flesh. The apple   
  is a large fruit with a red coloring over a yellow background.
             
Crimson Crisp Harvested in mid September, the Crimson Crisp has a 
  smart, snappy flavor that keeps very well in cold storage.
             
Criterion This odd shaped apple comes in October. It has a green 
  to yellow color and is pointed in shape. The flesh is 
  light and has a pear flavoring.      
             
Dabinett Another old english apple produced for its bitter, sweet
  juice. Harvested in October.      
             
Dandee Red This summer apple comes very early around June. It gets
  fully red and has a pleasingly crisp tart taste.
