The Free Cherokee Clans, Bands, and Chiefs
The Free Cherokee have gone through many times of change since 1989 when GrandFather Sings-Alone had his vision. At one time we were a hoop of over 30 bands, clans, and councils in every region across this turtle continent. During times of change we have seen some leave and some come, but the spirit has always been here. The New Phoenix has risen and we are pulling together once more, for we have been told by our Elders that the Spirits are moving in this land. They are telling us to get our people trained to carry the Pipe, pour water and generally be responsible spiritually. We are preparing for the Great Changes to come.
We are still in the process of calling the lost Free Cherokee back together and below you will find a list of those tribes, clans, bands, and councils, who have rejoined their people in the walk on the good red road.
