2012 Annual Meeting

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the ASQDE will be held from August 18th through August 23rd at the Doubletree Guest Suites in the Historic District of Charleston, South Carolina. The theme for the meeting is "Globalisation and Questioned Documents." Registration will be begin in March 2012. Attendance is restricted to members and invited quests. The online abstract submission form for the 2012 AGM in Charleston is now available. Abstract submissions are due by May 1, 2012.
Abstracts for the Vol. 14, No. 2 issue of the Journal of the ASQDE have been posted to the website.
The March 2012 issue of The Society Pages has been posted to the Newsletter Archives (password required).
Members can still purchase the most recent DVD from the ASQDE AGM (password required).
Dues for 2012 can now be paid using the online form on the Members Page (password required).
The first ten years of back issues of the Journal of the ASQDE are now available on DVD. Individual years through 2009 are available on CD.

About the ASQDE

The American Society of Questioned Document Examiners is the oldest and largest organization in the world dedicated to the profession of forensic document examination. The ASQDE traces its roots to 1913, when Albert S. Osborn initiated a program for the interchange of ideas and research. In 1942, Mr. Osborn and fourteen other prominent document examiners formally organized the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners.

President's Welcome

Welcome to the website of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners. On behalf of the Society, I invite you to tour our website and get an idea of what the ASQDE is all about. You can learn about the history of the Society, our annual meetings, and get contact information for examiners in private practice, as well as our Executive Committee.

Every year, normally in August or September, our members and invited guests meet for the Society's annual general meeting. At the annual meeting, our members and guests present research papers and participate in educational workshops. To maintain membership, each member must regularly present a research paper or make other significant contributions to the annual meeting.
