The Counselor Education (CNED) Program at the University of Arkansas is committed to providing quality education and training for individuals pursuing counseling positions in a variety of settings. The M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are offered through the program. The program is housed within the College of Education and Health Professions. The M.S. specializing in community counseling (now clinical mental health counseling) and school counseling and the Ph.D. in Counselor Education are nationally accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Student affairs and college counseling is also offered as a specialization in the M.S. degree.
