It’s back!

In April, Jen Saunders of MySmilingHeart and I are going to be running another 30DaysOfBeauty challenge, just as we did last year. You can read about the previous challenge on Jen’s blog here, and on my blog here!

For those of you that are new to the challenge, 30DaysOfBeauty is a lifestyle experiment designed to boost self-esteem and encourage women (and men!) to see how truly beautiful they are – and raise money for a good cause in the process! How do we do this?

For 30 days, starting on the 1st of April 2012, the two Jens will dedicate one tweet per day to a reason why they are beautiful. Each 30DaysOfBeauty tweet will finish with the hashtag #imbeautifulbecause, encouraging others to join in on the fun and tweet about why they are beautiful, too! Follow the Jens, and the challenge, on twitter at @smashedplanet and @smiling_heart. At the end of each week, the two Jens will each post a video update on Vimeo about the 30DaysOfBeauty challenge.

Through Crowdrise, the two Jens will be using this 30 day challenge to raise money for the Born This Way Foundation, a cause that is dedicated to creating a “more accepting society, where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated.”

JOIN US IN THIS CHALLENGE by tweeting using the #imbeautifulbecause hashtag each day in April, writing about the challenge if you are participating, reading about other’s experiences with the challenge on blogs or in the April issue of Wild Sister Magazine, or contributing to our Crowdrise fundraiser!

CELEBRATE YOUR BEAUTIFUL SELF THIS APRIL!
