“May I please speak to Anne-Tisdale?”

Anne-Tisdale Direct is not one person; we’re an entire company built from personal tragedy and a desire to help others.

Susan Antisdel had always championed her sister Judith’s business sense—even before there was a business. After Susan was murdered, Judy’s business took focus, spurred on by the memory of her sister’s constant, loving support. Judy named her new venture Anne-Tisdale, a European version of the family surname, to honor her family’s heritage, their strength, and honest, dedicated work ethic.

“They execute flawlessly and keep me apprised of the status of jobs.”

Established in 1987, Anne-Tisdale and Associates began as a home-based list and mail services brokerage. We quickly gained a reputation as the home of the Mailing Mommas—a group of women providing a hands-on approach to ensure that mailings met their client’s objectives. This segment of our company has now developed into a cooperative venture which offers training in the mailing services industry to people between jobs, the elderly, deaf, or transitional workers.

As business continued to grow, we expanded our services and added employees. In 2008, we moved to our current 16,000-square-foot location in Baltimore County. Anne-Tisdale Direct, as we’re now known, has developed into a respected, full-service list and mailing services company that meets any direct mail need while maintaining the personal touch that’s become our signature.

Judy Antisdel is an experienced, recognized authority in direct mail solutions.

spacer Judy founded our organization to fill the need for a Baltimore-based mail company focusing on prompt and efficient service to for-profit organizations as well as a growing number of non-profits. Under Judy’s leadership, we’ve earned professional designations ranging from US Postal Service Non Profit Specialist to US Postal Service Mail Manager. She is a frequent guest speaker at symposia and workshops offered by the federal government and various non-profit organizations. Judy’s numerous awards and memberships include:

  • Honorable Mention, USPS National Postal Forum Customer Satisfaction Award

  • Winner, USPS National Forum Design/Idea Award

  • Winner, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip and National Leadership Award

  • Honorary Co-Chairwoman, Business Advisory Council

  • Member, Postal Council and Executive Board Member

  • Member, Print Industries of Maryland

  • Minority Business Enterprise, Baltimore City and State of Maryland

Prior to founding Anne-Tisdale Direct, Judy served as project manager and list broker for Computermail Associates, Inc., and was named the company’s vice president in 1986. Earlier in her career, she served as marketing coordinator for the Health and Education Council, a continuing education consortium of the Baltimore County Health Department, Essex Community College, and Franklin Square Hospital.

A Baltimore native, Judy is an alumna of Baltimore Lutheran High School. She attended Towson State University, Goucher College, and the University of Delaware for courses in marketing, advertising, writing, and mass communications.
