I am getting the feeling this is really going to be an ugly fight here in this country. I say Occupy hasn’t done enough. So, if there are those saying otherwise, they will be just be in the way when this comes down.
There is no way Freak Out Nation or any other group can possibly go point to point with these issues. We cannot argue our way out of this bag anymore. And there’s enough dissatisfaction, and real despondency here in this country that we are throwing our most vulnerable citizens under the bus.
We can call it Oligarchy, make it an academic lifetime of criticism, or we can get down to business: this system not only lies to it’s citizens, harms them when there is dissent (hey baby boomers remember the 60′s and Dick Nixon) and now has taken this to new extremes.
This system is actually creating these movements. We have half our people desperately clinging to old ideals that never worked out or made anyone happy, such as the “family values menu.” They are cheap suggestions on how to live a life. I have ideas, my own, I’m not trying to get anyone to lead my life. Now leave me alone.
The half that is evolving at a rapid pace is the “thoughtful movement.” We’ve thought about it, don’t like it and don’t plan on taking it anymore.
