In an increasingly complex world of digital, Catriona’s philosophy is simple: “Design, in the end, is about creating better things for people.”
Senior user experience (UX) strategist isn’t just a job title for Catriona — it’s a passion. Here at Archer, she’s responsible for a full range of UX-related tasks, from creating UX strategies and defining information architecture to designing and analyzing usability tests. She evaluates the way users of all types interact with the web, and is dedicated to creating user experiences that are easy to use and memorable. It’s her goal to surprise and delight users — and keep them coming back for more.
Catriona came to Archer from Vanguard, where she was an information architect for the Institutional Investors website. Previous to that role, she completed Vanguard’s Technology Leadership program with three 8-month rotations within the user experience group.
Even beyond the Archer walls, Catriona is committed to enhancing her craft and is actively involved in the UX community. She is author to a top 10 UX blog, www.inspireUX.com, and member of PhillyCHI, a UX organization based in Philadelphia. Catriona has also contributed UX viewpoints to several Fortune.com articles.
UX isn’t Catriona’s only love, however. She also enjoys spending her free time learning about and practicing digital photography, catching up on the latest reality TV shows, and cheering on the Penn State football team.
