This combined event brings unparalleled education to all segments of the Green Industry. We’ve
partnered with top-notch Universities, Regulatory Agencies, and State and National Associations to
bring you the most up-to-date and relevant educational programming and recertification credits to

Get a jump-start on the GLTE Conference with all of your peers at the Opening Ceremony featuring
guest speakers Mr. Keith Creagh from the Director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture
and Rural Development (Governor Snyder invited) and Brad Groff, River Valley Landscapes.
At the end of the Conference we’ll come back together with the public to showcase our great
Green Industry during the Closing Ceremony where we’ll feature the 2nd Annual Landscape Challenge
and Virtual Golf Tournament Champion Awards. This will be followed by a presentation by P.
Allen Smith.
P. Allen Smith is an award-winning garden and lifestyle designer and host of the public television
program, P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home and the syndicated 30-minute show P. Allen Smith Gardens.
Smith is one of America’s most recognized and respected garden design experts, providing ideas and
inspiration through multiple media venues. He is the author of the best-selling Garden Home series of
books published by Clarkson Potter/Random House, including Bringing the Garden Indoors: Container,
Crafts and Bouquets for Every Room, published in 2009. His latest book, P. Allen Smith’s Seasonal
Recipes from the Garden, was released in December 2010. Smith is also a regular contributor on
NBC’s The TODAY Show.
