Hi, I’m Mike, a life-long Camarillo resident and gardener, Master Gardener and gardening coach.

Our goal at Gardening Coaches is to empower and encourage you to take control of your own food supply, to enjoy a more healthful life style, educate youth, build a sense of community, reduce food costs, and help the environment.

This web site will give  you the knowledge you need.

I am deeply involved with the local Community Garden movement. I am truly thrilled to be among the eager and vibrant volunteers who have come forward to help make this dream a reality.

To help us achieve these goals, we are also involved in local school gardening projects and assisting other county groups who are starting their own community gardens.

Enjoy the Gardens,

Mike

Hi. After a google search of ” when to plant a garden” your link came up. Great site but was hoping you could either guide me
On planting in sf or a site you can recommend? Thanks

    Hi, Tamara
The best place to go for local gardening info is local resources. Our coastal climate is similar to, but different from, yours. I’d suggest the local Master Gardener’s website as a first contact. If they haven’t compiled the information, they can direct you to the appropriate resources. Their web site is: ucanr.org/sites/MGsSMSF/
