The Fund is a private equity fund dedicated to investments that make a difference in the poorest communities of our world, including creating opportunities for our poorest and most vulnerable neighbors. The myth abounds that financial wealth is a zero sum game. We don't believe that. Security and poverty can not co-exist. For each of us to enjoy the security that we desire, those of us who have financial resources must find ways to invest those resources that provide opportunities for those with few resources. When given opportunity, our human nature itself and our inborn pursuit of security will create motivation and collaboration in community. Tapping into these aspects of our human nature, the Fund will create businesses that create opportunities for security; Security for individuals, families, and communities.

The creation of financial wealth is a goal, but it is not the only goal. A higher priority is reflected in our goal of improving lives and livelihood, or improving the security of individuals, families, and communities. Too often we fail to recognize that financial wealth is compatible with inner personal wealth and security.

In an increasingly small world, our security can only be ensured when we eradicate the poverty of our neighbors, regardless of where they live. Specifically, the Fund will invest in business ventures that address community needs including: education, leadership development, agriculture, waste management, ecology management, consumer goods, food distribution, and health care, among others.
