This website is here to help people find and run social media surgeries to support their local community and voluntary organisations. The volunteers who run surgeries have been recognised by the Prime Minister for a Big Society Award 2012 - which we think is fab. If you just want to run one surgery on a voluntary basis, register now. If you want to run several surgeries and measure their impact contact us.

If you want help – to talk to someone and see if social media is useful for you – book a place at your nearest surgery. If you want to offer social media help to voluntary and community organisations, please do the same. If you want to start your own surgery, please register.
If you already run a social media surgery and would like to add it to this site, please register first. You can then add a new surgery to this site from your dashboard.
If you want to start a social media surgery in your area, there are a few things you need to do. We've compiled a checklist to help get you started. Once you've got everything ticked off, register and add a new surgery to this site via your dashboard. If this is all a bit daunting then contact us and we'll talk it through.
