National General Practice Profiles

Revised and updated December 2011 - The profiles are designed to support GPs, clinical commissioning groups and PCTs to ensure that they are providing and commissioning effective and appropriate healthcare services for their local population.

Disease Prevalence Estimates

Updated modelled estimates of the prevalence of five long-term conditions with significant impact on the health and wellbeing of the population are now available to inform commissioning of services, and to support case finding and targeting of resources.

Injury Profiles

The Injury Profiles provide a snapshot of injuries occurring in each local authority in England. Interactive maps and charts enable comparisons to be made regionally and nationally for over 40 injury related indicators.

Small Area Indicators for Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

Updated March 2012 - The PHOs in England have updated the set of indicators at MSOA level for use by organisations carrying out joint strategic needs assessment. The indicators include population estimates, mortality, hospitalisation, lifestyle and socio-economic data.

Local Tobacco Control Profiles

Revised and updated January 2012 - The profiles bring together a detailed picture of the burden of smoking-related disease, costs and action for every local authority and primary care trust in England.
