The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is composed of 15 of jazz music’s leading soloists under the leadership of musical director Wynton Marsalis, arguably the most famous jazz musician alive. Drawing from an extensive repertoire that includes original compositions by Mr. Marsalis, and other members of the orchestra, as well as the masterworks of Ellington, Mingus, Coltrane, and other great jazz composers, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis concerts are internationally critically-acclaimed. Add nine Grammys and the Pulitzer Prize for Music, the first ever awarded to a jazz artist, and you know it’s got to be a performance not to be missed.
