Our Provisions Series collection features a variety of small batch beers that will only be made once. They are sold through our Reserve Society as well as a limited selection at our Provisions store in Old Towne Orange.

Premiére marks the grand opening of The Bruery Provisions in Old Towne Orange. A barrel aged strong golden ale, its a great introduction to our new location. Spicy with flavors of honey, caramel, light tropical fruits and bourbon. A beer that will surely mature beautifully with age.

ABV: 10.4%, IBU: 30, SRM: 7, Release: One time only

Gunga Galunga is a black beer with Thai influence. Brewed with 100% brettanomyces, kaffir lime leaves and galanga root (also known as Thai ginger, but it's not too ginger-like). This smooth, dry and roasty beer has clear notes of fresh citrus, crushed herbs and will compliment a spicy curry beautifully.

The Workman's Friend is our take on a classic imperial porter. One of the more classic and "to style" beers we've brewed around here, it's a rich and creamy strong porter with a big malty backbone. Roasty and with a hint of smoke in the finish, a fantastic beer to get you through the foggy months of winter.

ABV: 8%, IBU: 20, SRM: 50, Release: One time only

Our spin on an American-style barley wine, and we we say "our spin", we mean it's super hoppy. Dry hopped with Simcoe, Centennial and Sterling hops, a real piney and citrusy flavor shines through the dark, caramelly malt backbone. Some may think of it as more of a double IPA than a barley wine, we just think its delicious.

Cuádruple combines elements of Belgium with elements of Mexico, hence the name, meaning "quadruple" in Spanish. We bended a classic Belgian quad recipe by removing the standard Belgian candi sugars and replacing them with dark agave syrup. The resulting beer is a luxurious tribute to two very different parts of the world.

Clearly a bit of a play on the fact that Orchard White is quite often called by the wrong name, this beer is a new version of a Belgian-style wit for us. We've uped the gravity, creating a wit that comes in at 9% abv and we've completely removed lavender from the equation, this time brewing with orange peel, coriander and nutmeg for a great earthy taste. We worked on this recipe after an afternoon of tasting some of our favorite wit beers in the world and we think we did a nice job paying homage to some of the best.

Salt of the Earth is our play on a gose. Not to be confused with a gueze, the gose style originated in Leipzig, Germany. It is a wheat beer traditionally brewed with salt and coriander as well as lactic bacteria. Clearly not following the Reinheitsgebot, we figured we'd knock it up a level by using an addition of truffle salt in our gose, adding an earthy and funky element to the aroma and flavor certain to tantalize all of the foodies out there.

Meaning Beer Belly in German, Bierbauch is the Provisions Series ale for the month of May 2011, so of course we had to make a Maibock! And we're The Bruery, so of course we had to make it imperial! And why stop there when you can age it in oak barrels for a few months? The last strong beer you'll need before the heatwave of summer is upon us, this version of the traditional German lager is rich and oaky.

We brewed a stout (no, not Black Tuesday, this one is only 5% abv if you can believe it), but we then decided to throw it into oak barrels...and added our special blend of souring bacterias and yeasts. The result is a perfectly tart yet awesomely dark and roasty sour stout. Not a style you see too often - and in our opinion, not a style you see often enough.

Run BMC is one of the very few lagers we've ever crafted here at The Bruery and this one is a bit of a tribute to the summer. We've created an imperial Pilsner meant for enjoyment on a hot day in your back yard while surrounded by bikini clad women and professional football players. It's been quadruple hopped and cold fermented, just how you like it. We even borrowed some technology from our friends at Breckenridge Brewery like their patented "if you touch it and it's cold, then it's cold" method as well as their "gravity activated pouring".

Snicklefritz was the second place beer in our Batch #50 contest and some of you may remember trying it back in 2009 when we first brewed it as a draft-only beer. The recipe came from Kyle Manns who is now employed as a brewer for TAPS Brewpub in Brea and we like to think it's this beer that made his resume strong enough to get the job. Snicklefritz is a Belgian-style strong pale ale, spiced with cardomom, ginger, juniper berries and coriander, along with lemon, orange, grapefruit and tangerine zests. After fermentation, the already complex concoction is aged on oak cubes to add one more layer of flavor. It's an overly complex recipe that produces an outstanding beer.

We love Fall seasonal beers too much to settle on just one in 2011, so we brewed Burly Gourd as a Provisions Series ale to go hand in hand with Autumn Maple on the Thanksgiving table. This beer is a milk stout brewed with freshly roasted pumpkins that we picked up straight from the Farm Store at Cal Poly Pomona. These fresh, local and organic pumpkins lend a delightful vegetal quality to the stout and we accent the roasted pumpkin with seasonal spices and cedar wood chips for an added layer of complexity.

Mother Funker is a sour blonde ale that has been aged for several years in barrels predominately used for Chardonnay. Mother Funker is a seriously sour beer, perhaps the most sour beer we’ve produced so far. Bursting with citrus, funk, and a hint of white vinegar, Mother Funker is for those who like their sours with more sour.

ABV: 6% Release: One time only
