Spectrum UK has been servicing the UK ophthalmic market for almost 25 years. During this time Spectrum UK has introduced many revolutionary innovations. In 1987 Spectrum UK launched the OMS phaco and vitrectomy systems.  With the advent of injectable intra-ocular lenses (IOL) in the late 1980's, Spectrum brought to  the UK market the first foldable IOL which could be implanted following cataract surgery via a 3.2mm incision. Since that time Spectrum UK has grown to become the largest independent supplier of ophthalmic surgical products in the UK market.
