Weekend Warm Up Show 237 Apr 6th/7th
Here is show No.1 after my getaway to South Florida… and it was HUGE fun to be back on the decks and to work with so many amazing new tracks! First let me say thanks to all the wonderful people I met in Miami at the Winter Music Conference, special greetings are going out to the Music Plant Family - Georgie Porgie, Gee Cavelle, Tod Miner, Michael Butera, Ray Guell (thanks for introducing me to South Beach senor!), to the Addicted To Radio crew Jeannette and DJ Val, to Pepper MaShay (amazing performance!!!) and last but not least to Cindy and Vinnie, dinner was wonderful! - and to their son Charlie who still has not added me on facebook… ;o)
About the music - might take more breaks every now and then! Got so many excellent tracks while I was away, amazing! Too many to mention them all here… Dinka’s beautiful, happy and also emotional instrumental called “Purple”, a brilliant new version of Fleetwood Mac’s classic “Dreams” by Saul Ruiz and Matt Alber on vocals (listen to it first on the Weekend Warm Up!), uplifting house that will keep your booty moving by GrooveNut Ft Cyndi or Laura LaRue & Lee Dagger (who is one half of the famous Bimbo Jones production duo), disco house from the Hed Kandi crew remixed by Carl Creme and Reza and big room sounds by Alex Gaudino as well as the amazing Madeon remix of Martin Solveig’s “The Night Out”. My track of the week.
