Congratulations to Longtime Volunteer Rich Staples!
Rich was recently awarded SERVE Volunteer of The Year Award by his employer Fannie Mae at a ceremony in Washington DC

Rich Staples, who has been a dedicated, inspirational volunteer with AbilityPLUS for 12 years, was recognized as the 2011 Volunteer of the Year at the SERVE Awards Luncheon in Washington DC on March 27th.

Congratulations Rich! Thank you for all you have done and all you continue to do for our wonderful organization and all the people your kind spirit touches.

Andrew's In The News!

AbilityPLUS Racer Andrew Haraghey is making news as he wins races and works towards his goal: compete with the US Paralympics Team at 2014 Paralympics in Russia

Andrew Haraghey, a member of the AbilityPLUS Alpine Race Team,
won gold in the final race of the 2011-12 Diana Golden Race Series, his 5th gold medal this season. Andrew also captured honors as the best racer in his class overall for the 2011-12 season.
Andrew is 16 years old and is working toward a spot on the 2014 US Paralympic Race Team,find out how you can help him get there!

The AbilityPLUS Special Olympics Alpine Race Team wrapped up its 2011-12 season with four medals,including two golds, 2 silvers and seven additional top five finishes in the season’s race series finale at Suicide Six in Woodstock, VT.
