Overview - The Business Challenge

Verbal communications is the life blood of a company. Reaching your customers or having your customers being able to reach you to ask questions about features, order products, or resolve issues is what keeps you in business. If your telephone system is not available when you need to make or receive a call, sooner or later, you will lose business. This is a risk you may not be willing to take.

As this dependency grows in importance, your voice communication cost is also rising. If you have a PBX in place today, the cost of supporting and maintaining it is sky-rocketing. If you are using Centrex services from a local exchange carrier, cost is also rising.

Whether it is data access, residential voice, enterprise PBX, gaming, streaming media or e-commerce, IP-based services have gotten a lot more complex than they used to be when you first installed your telephone system.
