Hereford United Chairman David Keyte was pleased with the excellent support from more than 3,000 Bulls fans against Plymouth Argyle.

"I was really encouraged by the turnout of Hereford supporters," Keyte told the Official Hereford United Website, adding: "We had more than 3,000 home fans helping to create a great atmosphere inside the ground.

"I'd like to thank them for turning out and giving such great vocal backing.



"The crowd can be so influential in lifting the players and they certainly did just that after the disappointing first half scoreline."

And the Chairman thinks that the Bulls still have a great chance of avoiding relegation.

"It's not over yet. As a friend said yesterday, 'the fat lady has not even reached the car park!'"

Keyte knows that Hereford need to pick up as many points as they can muster if they are to climb out of the bottom two.

"Realistically we need a minimum of two wins," said Keyte "ideally out of the next three matches."

The Bulls now face trips to Accrington Stanley on Easter Monday and then Barnet next Friday, before entertaining Northampton Town at Edgar Street on 21st April.

"It will be another crucial game for us and I hope we can look forward to seeing as many home fans again." Keyte said.
