Hey Guys,

Welcome to my new online home! I hope you’ll kick back and hang out here awhile because I’ve got a lot of great stuff in store. I’m really excited about this new site because it gives me the chance to talk to you guys directly about, well… everything.

We’ll cover design tips and tricks, behind the scenes stories from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, pictures from my life on the road and the latest on all of the projects I’ve got going on. I’ve also got a special place here on the site to spotlight some everyday heroes that are changing the lives of others.

I’ve always been inspired by good design and great people so this new site is a place for you to come and get inspired, and also to get moving. Whether you’re looking for a way to give back in your hometown, or you need help figuring out how to start that home remodel you’ve been putting off, I’ve got you covered here.

Also, you guys should know, this site was built for you. TyPennington.com is now a social networking site where you can sign up for an account, fill out your profile page, and get to talking with me and the rest of the community. So come here and get involved: start a conversation in the forum; leave me a comment with thoughts on my newest fabric; submit pictures of your latest design project in the gallery; and most importantly, get comfortable and meet some great people.

I’m looking forward to sharing all of my favorite stuff with you guys and can’t wait to hear what you’ve got to say.

The instantly recognizable sound of Ty Pennington’s “Good Morning!” has become an unmistakable sign of hope for families and communities, as he has helped transform the lives of thousands, while inspiring millions more around the world.

Under the leadership of the charismatic home-design guru, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is consistently rated among the top 20 of all television programs. It has won two Emmys for Outstanding Reality Program and two People's Choice Awards.

In the fall of 2010, Pennington expanded his international appeal with two new series. Inside the Box with Ty Pennington, for Canada’s W Network, matches two amateur interior designers in a contest to decorate a room using only the contents of a mystery crate put together by Pennington. As part of his ongoing relationship with Great Britain’s UKTV Home, his newest series Homes for the Brave focuses on improving the homes and lives of soldiers who served in Afghanistan for the British Army.

Pennington first took his talent for mobilizing volunteers overseas to Great Britain for Ty’s Great British Adventure, a community-improvement series airing on UKTV Home. In addition to hosting, he was executive producer. Seasons 1 and 2 went on to become UKTV Home’s two highest rated television series ever.

Pennington recently launched a new fabric line, Ty Pennington Impressions with Westminster Fabrics. Available in a variety of prints, colors and fabrics, the line offers fun, versatile and easy ways to update your home décor.

Pennington continues his partnership with industry leader Howard Miller, designing new pieces for his Signature Home Furnishings by Ty Pennington. The line features high-quality, casual contemporary furniture that’s easily coordinated.

Ty Pennington Style is Pennington’s seasonal home décor line carried at Sears, offering fun and stylish home fashions at affordable prices. The line includes everything from bedding and rugs to lighting and dishware.

Pennington's flooring Ty Pennington Collection for Lumber Liquidators is available in stores and online nationwide.

Pennington’s latest book, How Good Design Can Change Your Life (Simon & Schuster) is an intimate look at Ty’s design inspirations with décor advice and tips. It followed up his New York Times best seller Ty's Tricks (Hyperion), which is part reference and part behind-the-scenes in Ty's own home, which he completely remodeled himself.

Pennington has been recognized as a leader in the field of volunteerism for his work on Extreme Makeover and Ty’s Great British Adventure. He also serves as ambassador for the Sears American Dream campaign. Ask Ty what makes him tick and he'll say, "It's about the joy of doing things for others. ‘Extreme Makeover’ is about family, about America and about these random acts of kindness that can restore your faith in people."

Pennington first won national attention as the quirky and creative carpenter on the groundbreaking home improvement series “Trading Spaces.” He lives in Los Angeles.
