You can come in alone or with your spouse and spend up to 90 minutes with two professional advisors (a divorce attorney, and a non-lawyer mediation specialist). Together we will...
- Review the pros and cons of mediation, arbitration and litigation.
- Explain how the courts work, including, when relevant, how child support is calculated by the courts. (Even if you agree on a different amount, the court requires that you identify the calculated amount.)
- Explain how certain funds, such as retirement accounts and pensions, need special documentation for the courts and the IRS.
- Provide you with background materials explaining what information you'll need, including a Dissolution Information Questionnaire you'll take with you that keys you into the issues you'll need to address, however you decide to proceed.
- Give you samples of a Settlement Agreement and Custody Parenting Agreement, and materials prepared by the Arizona Supreme Court to help you succeed in agreeing on parenting issues.
- And, most important, answer your questions and let you make informed decisions about how to proceed.
This introductory session usually takes 60-90 minutes. You'll leave with clarity about your options and our "DORA" notebook, full of information to help you make good decisions.

Come into Agreement House™ -- either alone or with your spouse --and meet with one of our mediators to review the decisions you've made about your divorce.
Then, consulting with one of our attorneys, we will collect all the information the courts require for the divorce documents. We become your Agreement House Document Shepherd™, making sure all the documents needed to file for divorce are drafted and reviewed by one of our divorce attorneys. You sign the papers and we have them submitted to the court. Then, after the mandatory 60-day waiting period, we file the remaining documents and once the court has approved them, the divorce is complete. It's fast, easy and affordable.
