Decimal Points 7.7 – Surround sound artist and music director Philip Tan takes it to the floor, tearing up notions of conventionality and turning it up several notches in an installation experiment with performance at specified timings. It’s just what happens when the beats from his head let loose and possess a silver screen, kick ass speakers and whatever else is in the room. Okay, you get it, here’s something in a performance space that really shouldn’t be measured or defined except to say it’s what happens when a brilliant music man paints a living, breathing picture. Don’t miss it. Conceptualised & Created by Philip Tan.

Big is Beautiful, a debut exhibition by Fen, showcases nudes of plus-sized women. By bringing out the beauty in bigger ladies for the world to see, she hopes to change the common perspective that fat is ugly. Even rolls of fat can be beautiful. Only if one is willing to take the time to appreciate it. Fen, who specialises in artistic nude photography, hopes that Big is Beautiful will help people with poor self-image and Body Dysmorphic Disorders to gain a better perspective of their own bodies. And that one does not need to have the perfect body to be happy.
