Where is Rotec?

spacer In the past 2 years Rotec has made monumental strides toward its bright future in the concrete placement industry. The company left its home of 50 years in Elmhurst, IL, upgrading to a facility in Hampshire, IL which will fulfill the company’s appetite for expansion. Rotec will miss its valued relationship with the Elmhurst community, however, the potential at the new facility in Hampshire is exciting. “We have thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed our stay in Elmhurst. It’s a wonderful city with a fabulous location and one of my points was just to thank the city for the freedom to run our business,” -Rotec CEO Robert F. Oury.

What’s New?

spacer Rotec is proud to be the major equipment provider on the largest project in the world: expansion of the Panama Canal. The Panama Canal is designated one of the “Seven Wonders of the Modern World and a Monument of the Millennium” by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It opened in 1914, and in 1977, President Jimmy Carter signed a treaty that empowered the Panama Canal Authority. In 2006, Panama approved expansion of the canal. The anticipated completion date of the more than $5 billion project is 2014, or 100 years since the canal first opened.
