Review: Wind Named Amnesia by SoleGrave
spacer Endorsed by Rancid Pickle on 2007-02-22 11:38:00

Released in 1993 and directed by fan favorite Yoshiaki Kawajiri, A Wind Named Amnesia is an entertaining post-apocalyptic thriller with interesting social commentary. Just what are the Haibane? They have wings like angels, they have halos like angels .... could they be angels? The episodes on disc 3 of Haibane Renmei give the viewer plenty of hints, bits and pieces of information, but let...(continues)

Review: Perfect Blue by Dratt the Wisp
Endorsed by Rancid Pickle on 2007-01-05 14:22:00

Perfect Blue is a movie first and an anime second.

The film plays just like a live-action version. In actuality, this could have been filmed using actors instead of animators. The script and directing are well thought out. The...(continues)
