About The O.C.H. Art Market

The O.C.H. Art Market, named for its location on 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., started in November 2010 as an effort to bring more foot traffic to the Central City neighborhood. In addition to being in an historic building and in a nationally recognized historic district, O. C. Haley Blvd. is now a recognized Cultural Products District meaning there is no sales tax on original art.

In addition to offering locally made arts and crafts the OCH Market offers great food from Surrey’s Cafe and others. In collaboration with Hollygrove Market and Farm the OCH Art Market is an designated neighborhood location for receiving Hollygrove’s fresh locally grown weekly produce box.

At each market the neighboring Euterpe Bike Project offers a monthly bike repair workshop and slow biking competition where the slowest rider wins a bicycle. Each Market will have a theme to attract new audiences. But the market is not exclusive to those exhibiting that theme rather the “themed” vendors are in addition to our regular vendors.

Come sell your locally made crafts and find a unique item and contribute to revitalization of Oretha Castle Haley by bringing shopping locally on historic Dryades Street. For more information on the history of Dryades Street and the effort to bring revitalize the corridor click here.

The OCH Art Market is free, open to the public, and family friendly.

Market hours are from 10am to 3pm on the second Saturday of each month.
