allies battle for control of the galaxy against a coalition of free
civilizations led by the Terran Alliance.
Play as the Terran Alliance or as one of
9 alien races -- or create your own
Design your own ships both in how they
look and how they function and watch them do battle
Advanced diplomatic options give players more options for victory
Unique worlds, asteroid fields, epic events, and more help make each
game a whole new experience
Two campaigns: The Dread Lords (the war of 2225) and The Dark Avatar
(after math of 2226) puts the player in the middle of the action
Create your own opponents to fight against and decide what they look
like, how they play, what their ships look like and more!

Later this week we plan to put onto Stardock Central the first betas of Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar 1.6. We expect the beta process to take roughly a month. These betas are optional, so don't feel you have to use them. But if you want to try out what we've been working on, these will hopefully do the trick.
Stay tuned!
