About/Disclosures
“I want to thank you again for such a wonderful in-service. Our teachers have been raving, and they’re very excited to master the tools that you showed us. Several of them have told me that it was the best in-service we’ve ever had! I wish we could get you into every school in the country. Can you fit that into your schedule?”
–Debbie Laughlin, Erie, OH, April 2008
Welcome to Weblogg-ed, maintained by me, Will Richardson, “Learner in Chief” at Connective Learning and the author of Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms now in its 2nd Edition, published by Corwin Press. This site is dedicated to discussions and reflections on the use of Weblogs, wikis, RSS, audiocasts and other Read/Write Web related technologies in the K-12 realm, technologies that are transforming classrooms around the world.
I welcome opportunities to do presentations on these technologies and to teach and train educators how to use them effectively in the classroom. Please see the list of keynote, conference and workshop descriptions that I can deliver to your group or school, and let me know how I might cater to your unique needs. Please contact me via e-mail at will at weblogg-ed dot com if you are interested.
Aside from all that, as of April 2007, I’m a national advisory board member for the George Lucas Education Foundation, I write a quarterly column called “Web 2.0″ for District Administration magazine, and I’m a regular contributor to journals such as Educational Leadership, Edutopia, English Journal and others.
Thanks for stopping by, and I sincerely hope you find your time here worthwhile. (Let me know if you don’t!)
