Sharnnie and Jamie – Severn Valley Engagement Shoot
It’s always nice when someone likes what you do. However, when Jamie asked if I’d take some engagement pictures for him and his fiancé Sharnnie I was especially chuffed. You see, Jamie is a photographer himself, so as well as feeling that it was a great compliment, I must admit feeling a teeny bit of extra pressure to perform.
Built in the 1860′s, Bridgnorth Severn Valley Railway Station provided the setting for a vintage style shoot and with no train services running through the Winter it was also nice and quiet – an added bonus. Jamie (being a photographer) couldn’t resist bringing along a camera – a good old fashioned polaroid, which I loved! I can’t believe that I don’t own one! We had some fun with the polaroid doing a ‘shoot within a shoot’, after which there was a bit of jumping on and off carriages and generally messing about with all the vintage luggage on offer. Sharnnie and Jamie were great to shoot and real good fun to be around – here are a few of my favourites from the session.
