Road Shop Tour

Recently, I was able to take a very informative tour of the Klamath County Road Shop. Any mechanic would be envious of those working in this facility.

spacer This is still the first phase so much more is still needed to make the “whole” project work as it is supposed to. There are still problems with the new structure even this long after being completed. Apparently, the actual cost to date has not been determined.

This may be the finest shop around, but still something the voters did not want built, especially with our current financial problems. Also with the opposition to using the Road and School Fund to pay for it, one has to wonder if our incumbent County Commissioners were listening to the people when they authorized the construction.
