The Shred Show
This year's Shred Show will feature Slopestyle, Big Hip, Boarderstyle and Mogul Duel. The Slopestyle and Big Hip are TTR World Snowboard Tour 5-star events.
Schedule
(Download detailed event schedule and formats - see bottom of page)
April 14 | Big Hip (invitational)
April 15 | Borderstyle
April 16 | Slopestyle (invitational)
April 17 | Mogul Duel
BIG HIP [Invitational - TTR World Snowboard Tour event]
April 14 | Skiers Plaza Whistler Village
For 15 years, Saturday night during the WSSF has always been reserved for the biggest events, the biggest crowds and the most energy. On April 14th, capacity crowds will witness the world's best snowboarders compete on a huge hip jump in a 2 round elimination and superfinal format for $25,000 in prize money.
BOARDERSTYLE
April 15 | Blackcomb Terrain Park
With its global debut at the "The Show" in 2011, Boarderstyle sets a new standard for unique snowboarding events where 4 riders race head to head in a traditional boardercross course and are then judged on their freestyle skills on a giant park feature. The combination of speed and tricks makes for never-seen-before action. On April 15, riders will face the next generation of Boarderstyle: more freestyle, more speed and more action.
SLOPESTYLE [Invitational - TTR World Snowboard Tour event]
April 16 | Blackcomb Terrain Park
The inclusion of Slopestyle into the Olympic Games has helped a resurgence of the discipline back into snowboard competition, and Blackcomb’s terrain park is the location of this varied and challenging competition, with another $25,000 up for grabs.
MOGUL DUEL
April 17 | Blackcomb Glacier Creek Lodge
The legendary Mogul Duel returns for another year. The course is located on the Davies Dervish run just above the Glacier Creek restaurant on Blackcomb Mountain. The races will be run in a head to head, two hour jam format with two athletes running the course at the same time. Just like past years there are jumps on the mogul course and yes they are mandatory! All times will be recorded with only the current four fastest times residing in the “hot seat” hoping that nobody will knock them out. The top four times at the end of the two hour jam session will then race head to head in a small and big final for all the glory in front of thousands of screaming fans.
Athlete Registration
Registration is now closed. The Slopestyle and Big Hip invitations are posted below. The list of Boarderstyle and Mogul Duel athletes will be posted on Apri 12.

Will there be a live stream or broadcast?
I thought the invites where based on TTR Points??? Obviously telus is still a popularity contest cause there are pple on the invite list that have no TTR Points!! Bull shit!! Get your shit together Monster!!
The majority of the selection for the Big Hip and Slopestyle were based on TTR World Snowboard Tour points / rankings. In recognition of the large number of Whistler based snowboarders that would not typically compete (and therefore accumulate TTR points), there were also a very limited number of wildcard spots. The Selection Committee had over 85 applications - there are only 30 spots in each discipline. Sorry that you're disappointed and upset - but the reality is that no matter what selection criteria is adopted there will be more talented and deserving athletes than there are spots available.
