Hurricane Igor hits Newfoundland

My home province of Newfoundland was hit hard by Hurricane Igor, and I've collected some of the more notable videos shot from around the province and mapped them according to location below. If you know of a video that I should add, please submit it using this form.

Particularly striking was this video taken in Beau Bois, showing a barn getting washed away by a raging river. Local photographer Colin Peddle was also out and about and managed to take some great photos in St. John's. CBC has perhaps the best coverage out there, though they fail to link out to other useful sources such as The Telegram, NTV, or VOCM or list any key emergency contacts.

But it's clear that regular people around the province with handheld cameras and phones have one-upped the local media this time, at least as far as online coverage goes. See the map below for more.
