Airport Surface Management

Saab Sensis offers a comprehensive range of Airport Surface Management solutions, from Advanced - Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems (A-SMGCS) such as the FAA's Airport Surface Detection Equipment, Model X (ASDE-X) program, to surface surveillance products such as Multilateration and Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) transceivers. Sensis also offers surveillance data processing and fusion with the Multi-Sensor Data Processor (MSDP) and airport vehicle tracking with the VeeLo vehicle locator.

Enhanced Air Surveillance

Saab Sensis has participated in Enhanced Air Surveillance programs throughout the world, from Innsbruck, Austria to the Gulf of Mexico. Sensis' cooperative multilateration surveillance system, Multilateration , and ADS-B transceivers provide air surveillance coverage for terminal, enroute and PRM applications. Their accuracy and high update result in significant performance improvements over traditional radar. Additionally, MSDP provides plot level fusion and real-time sensor registration to provide the best estimate of target location using multiple data sources.

Special Use Airspace Management

With Saab Sensis surveillance and data processing technology, military ranges receive surveillance accuracy and system availability that significantly improve the cooperative radar surveillance picture, substantially impacting range safety through improved situational awareness of aircraft operations during test maneuvers.
