Pepco Wraps Up Restoring Remaining Customers Affected By Wind Storm

Pepco Restores More Than 46,000 Customers Since Wake Of Storm

WASHINGTON – As of 8:30 this morning, Pepco has restored power to more than 46,000 customers since yesterday’s wind storm. Currently, approximately 780 customers remain without power.

Pepco crew personnel and outside contractors worked from 3 p.m. when the storm impacted the electrical system, through the night restoring power to affected customers. They will continue to restore customers as quickly and safely as possible until each customer has been restored.

“We’re focused on getting every single affected customer restored,” said Thomas Graham, President Pepco Region. “ I’m confident that our crews will be done by this evening .”
