A passionate traveler–raised in New York by European parents who schlepped me everywhere–I have been fortunate to incorporate this passion into my career as a journalist. Contributing travel pieces to publications such as The New York Times and Travel & Leisure, and websites like Wowowow and Family Travel Forum, has been wildly gratifying and so important to my career (for a more complete selection of travel articles, click here).
Now, I EMBARK on yet another project. While the definition of ‘embark’ relates to boarding a vehicle, it also means to begin. This blog launched with our family’s recent trip to Thailand, Bali and Hong Kong, and continues with posts covering a wide variety of adventures, destinations, trends and thoughts on life’s constant passages from one place to another.
It is my hope to use this blog to share my thoughts and insights on the various adventures and journeys on which I/we will EMBARK.
