Imagining the Art School of the Future: Call for Submissions Ends 16 April

Call for real or utopian prospects for tomorrow’s school of art. On the occasion of its 300th anniversary, the Brussels Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Art organises an international competition for art schools in and out of Europe under the auspices of ELIA. Submission deadline is 16 April.

Henk Borgdorff: The conflict of the faculties

ELIA Board Member Efva Lilja, Professor of Choreography and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Dance and Circus, Stockholm is one of 12 cultural notabilities appointed to find the best examples of art engendering positive developments in larger society. On 27-28 February in Copenhagen The Danish Minister for Culture launched an initiative to explore current European art and cultural practices for new opportunities amidst the ecnomic crisis.
