Ocsigen is the base for a research project of the PPS computer science laboratory, Paris Diderot university and CNRS.

It is now part of the IRILL, a center for Research and Innovation on Free Software.

It receives founding from the ANR, through two research projects:

  • Programmation fonctionnelle pour le Web (2007-2010)
  • PWD (2010-2013) labellised by the System@tic cluster
