About
Hi, I’m Nancy.
Re-Velo was born out of my love for bicycling, sewing, re-cycling, and my never-ending desire to stash my stuff into something stylish.
I make bags out of punctured or defective innertubes saved from the trash and given to me by local bike shops. I also use worn-out chain links for the zipper pulls and any other parts I can salvage. My bags are water-resistant, and being handmade, each one is unique.
I live in Kansas City and I commute to my day job by bike (a bamboo cargo bike!) as often as I can. I usually have a camera with me so I take lots of photos. My boyfriend is a bike mechanic and builds bikes also so I always have something great to ride.
