Secure Instant Messaging
e/pop Basic is a company-wide presence management and secure instant messaging (IM) system offering a comprehensive feature-set, easy installation, no server software pre-requisites and hard client lock-down to completely minimize admin time.
The server software includes a complete suite of enterprise instant messaging controls governing all aspects of the system: directory integration, presence management (identity),
security (authentication and encryption), access, routing (public/private addresses), and support for multi-office networks (centralized or distributed configurations).
The client lock-down capabilities allow administrators to allow/disallow select features for various users and groups, and prevent network users from changing these settings.
The centralized admin console provides control over groups and profiles (who can see whom in the presence management system).

Conferencing
e/pop chat conferencing enables real-time virtual meetings.
